'Encroaching' Series 2017

This body of work was created during a 6 week residency in Medalta, Canada which Rachel took part in thanks to funding provided by the Arts Council NI. 

​

The work is inspired by the infectious growth of organic matter such as moss and fungi, where clean and architectural 'man made' structures that have been forced into the natural world are slowly being taken over by the nature which surrounds them.
