'Budding', 2015

 

Each piece within 'Budding' is brings together both my love for nature, and experimenting with ceramic material. By taking advantage of the unique melting ability of Egyptian Faience, the glaze is allowed to move through the forms to portray the act of organic growth, and displays the individuality of all natural matter. 

 

This collection of work was created during my time in Denmark within the Project Network Residency at Guldagergaard International Ceramics Centre.
