'Spores' and 'Seedlings' Series 2018

 

Influenced by her love of nature, Rachel has taken aspects of organic vs man made form, texture and colour to create abstract and ambiguous sculptures. Each piece combines methods of slip casting, handbuilding and naturally 'growing' stems of Egyptian Faience.
